K-WINGS ANNOUNCE ‘KIDS EAT FREE’ GAMES IN 2026-27
Kalamazoo locks in six Sunday ‘Kids Eat Free’ games as part of the 2026-27 ‘Best Of’ series for children 12 & Under.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced Wednesday that they are making Sunday hockey even more family-friendly this season by bringing back ‘Kids Eat Free’ games, giving children 12 and under the opportunity to enjoy a free meal at six Sunday home games at Wings Event Center.
With 2026-27 marking the Farewell Season at Wings Event Center before the team’s move to Downtown Kalamazoo, Kids Eat Free is one of many ‘Best Of’ promotions returning in 2026-27.
“The ‘Best Of’ is our focus for the Farewell Season at Wings Event Center,” said Toni Will, K-Wings General Manager and Governor. “Kids Eat Free brings back a fan-favorite promotion from years past, giving longtime fans a little nostalgia while introducing the tradition to a new generation of K-Wings families.”
At each participating game, children 12 and under will receive a voucher at the entry doors, good for a hot dog or chicken tender basket with fries and a fountain drink with any adult purchase.
The Kids Eat Free promotion will be offered on the following dates:
- Nov. 8 vs. Fort Wayne (Sensory Sunday)
- Nov. 15 vs. New Mexico (Floats for Coats)
- Nov. 29 vs. Cincinnati (Pirates & Princesses Day
- Dec. 13 vs. Fort Wayne (Swiftie Day)
- Jan. 10 vs. Indy (Mascot Madness)
- Apr. 11 vs. Bloomington (WEC Regular-Season Farewell)
The promotion is valid for children 12 and under at participating Sunday games with any adult purchase. Kids Eat Free does not apply to the Outdoor Game on Jan. 30, 2027.
“Sunday hockey should be something the whole family can enjoy, and we wanted to make it even easier for families to make a K-Wings game part of their weekend,” Will said. “Kids Eat Free gives families another reason to come out, enjoy great hockey and create memories together.”
