K-WINGS LAND ROOKIE FORWARDS ADAM INGRAM AND TYLER SCHLEPPE
Kalamazoo adds two first-year forwards, Ingram and Schleppe, to provide a spark up front.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, announced Monday that the team has signed rookie forwards Adam Ingram and Tyler Schleppe to a Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2026-27 season.
Ingram, 22, is a 6-foot 3-inch, 174-pound, West St. Paul, MB native entering his first professional season. In 2025-26, Ingram finished his senior season at St. Cloud State (NCAA) with 13 points (3g, 10a) in 25 games and appeared in six games for the Idaho Steelheads (2a).
“I’m super fired up to be joining the Wings,” Ingram said. “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the passion of the fans & the atmosphere at Wings Event Center, and I’m looking forward to putting on that jersey for them. I can’t wait to get to Kalamazoo and get to work.”
The Manitoba native spent four collegiate seasons (2022-26) at St. Cloud, appearing in 133 games with 72 total points (23g, 49a) and 60 penalty minutes. Prior to his college career, Ingram was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team, scoring 55 points (26g, 29a) in 54 games for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL in 2021-22.
Schleppe, 24, is a 6-foot 4-inch, 193-pound, Vancouver, BC native entering his first professional season. Schleppe was an alternate captain at Ferris State (NCAA) and played in 36 games (6g, 10a) in 2025-26 before suiting up for 13 games (1g, 2a) for the Kansas City Mavericks.
“I can't wait to get the season going and be a part of the Kalamazoo organization,” Schleppe said. “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the fans and the atmosphere in Kalamazoo. I’m looking forward to making the last year in the Wings Event Center a special one.”
Prior to turning pro, Schleppe played four years at Ferris State (2022-2026), amassing 58 points (27g, 31a) in 125 games for the Bulldogs. Before his collegiate career, the right-shot forward played five seasons of juniors in the BCHL across three teams, putting up 120 total points (55g, 65a) in 180 games, and 8 points (3g, 5a) in 26 playoff appearances.
Kalamazoo will continue releasing player signings until the start of training camp this October. Single-Game tickets and the team’s promotional schedule are slated to release in September with the Home Opener scheduled for October 30 at 7 p.m. ET versus the Toledo Walleye.
