K-WINGS ADD FORWARD ADAM PITTERS & RE-SIGN FORWARD CAM KNUBLE
Kalamazoo strengthens its attack with former Tahoe forward Adam Pitters and welcomes back Cam Knuble’s versatility to the 2026-27 roster.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, announced Tuesday that the team has signed forward Adam Pitters to a Standard Player Contract (SPC) and re-signed forward Cam Knuble to a Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2026-27 season.
Pitters, 27, is a 5-foot 10-inch, 181-pound, Grosse Pointe, MI native entering his third professional season. In 2025-26, Pitters scored 20 points (5g, 15a) in 59 games for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. The left-shot also spent his rookie campaign (2024-25) in Tahoe, tallying 13 points (3g, 10a) in 43 games.
“I’m really excited for the opportunity to join the Kalamazoo Wings,” Pitters said. “I’ve heard great things about the organization, the fans, the city, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it. Being close to home makes the opportunity even more special, and I’m excited to be able to play in front of family and friends.”
The Michigan native spent four seasons (2019-23) at Bowling Green (NCAA), playing in 102 games with 23 points (6g, 17a) for the Falcons and then transferred to Long Island University (NCAA) for his fifth year. While at LIU (2023-24), the forward notched 10 points (5g, 5a) in 31 games before joining the Fayetteville Marksmen (SPHL) to finish the 2023-24 season, adding 10 points (2g, 8a) in 8 games.
Knuble, 26, is a 6-foot 2-inch, 190-pound Grand Rapids, MI native entering his second professional season. In 2025-26, Knuble tallied 6 points (2g, 4a) in 43 appearances during his rookie season for the K-Wings.
“I’m really looking forward to being back for another year in Kalamazoo,” Knuble said. “Super excited to see our fans celebrate the last season in Wings Event Center.”
Prior to last season, the right-shot forward spent five years (2020-25) in Kalamazoo with Western Michigan (NCAA). Knuble posted a collegiate career high of 15 points (5g, 10a) to help the program lift its first national championship in the 2024-25 season. With the Broncos, the forward appeared in 133 total games (7g, 11a) and served as an alternate captain in his senior year.
Kalamazoo will continue releasing player signings until the start of training camp this October. Single-Game tickets and the team’s promotional schedule are slated to be released in mid-September, with the Home Opener scheduled for October 30 at 7 p.m. ET versus the Toledo Walleye.
