K-WINGS SECURE FORWARD SEAN CHISHOLM TO 2026-27 ROSTER
Kalamazoo adds AHL-experienced forward Sean Chisholm.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, announced Thursday that the team has signed forward Sean Chisholm to a Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2026-27 season.
Chisholm, 25, is a 6-foot 1-inch, 190-pound, Caledonia, ON native entering his second professional season. Last season, the forward scored six points (3g, 3a) in 51 games played with the Texas Stars (AHL).
“I’m super excited to be coming to the K-Wings,” Chisholm said. “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the organization, community and fans. I can’t wait to get to work and make the last year in the Wings Event Center a special one!”
The left shot joined the Stars at the end of the 2024-25 season out of Dartmouth College (NCAA), playing in seven games (1g, 1a) to finish the 2024-25 season with the Stars. Chisholm spent the previous four seasons (2021-25) with the Big Green, amassing 81 points (39g, 42a) in 122 games played. He was also named Dartmouth’s team captain during his junior and senior seasons.
Kalamazoo will continue releasing player signings until the start of training camp this October. Single-Game tickets and the team’s promotional schedule are slated to release in early September, with the Home Opener scheduled for October 30 at 7 p.m. ET versus the Toledo Walleye.
