K-WINGS BOLSTER 2026-27 ROSTER WITH FORWARD KONSTANTIN KHREMKIN
Kalamazoo adds forward with VHL & KHL experience in Khremkin.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, announced Thursday that forward Konstantin Khremkin has signed a Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2026-27 season.
Khremkin, 24, is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound, Cherepovets, Russia native entering his first professional season. The forward has played parts of three seasons in the VHL with HK Norilsk (2023-24) and Gornyak-UGMK (2024-26), scoring 87 points (33g, 54a) in 149 games played. Last season, he notched 36 points (16g, 20a) in 58 games played for Gornyak-UGMK.
“I’m really happy to be part of this team and look forward to the start of the season,” Khremkin said. “I am training hard for the games so we can delight the fans with our performance.”
The left-shot forward has also earned two call-ups to the KHL with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg (2024-26), playing in eight games.
Kalamazoo will continue releasing player signings until the start of training camp this October. Single-Game tickets and the team’s promotional schedule are slated to release in early September, with the Home Opener scheduled for October 30 at 7 p.m. ET versus the Toledo Walleye.
