KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, and Head Coach Nick Bootland, announced that forwards Zach Jordan and Erik Bradford are recalled to the AHL.
Jordan is heading up to the Cleveland Monsters, and Erik Bradford is now loaned to the Grand Rapids Griffins.
For the K-Wings this season, Jordan, 25, has accumulated seven goals, four assists, is plus five and scored the game winning goal in Kalamazoo’s last game versus Tulsa on Sunday (1) at home.
The call up is Jordan’s second call to the AHL (2020-21 - Cleveland Monsters) in his one-year career. In Jordan’s first stint with the Monsters, Jordan scored four goals and added two assists in 27 games played.
Bradford, 27, was phenomenal in the month of December. In 11-games last month, Bradford amassed five goals (10), 10 assists (17), was plus three (11), and scored two game winning goals (3). There were only three games that the standout forward was held off the score sheet in December.
This is Bradford’s third call to the AHL (2014/15, 2017/18 - Toronto Marlies, 4 GP) in his 7 year career.
