K-WINGS REVEAL INAUGURAL ‘WALL OF HONOR’ CLASS
Kalamazoo inducts 50 players, 5 coaches and six builders to its ‘Wall of Honor’ ahead of 50th Anniversary Season.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, and owner Bill Johnston revealed the team’s new ‘Wall of Honor’ (WOH) Tuesday at their annual press conference ahead of the 50th Anniversary season at Wings Event Center.
Fifty players, five coaches and six builders were inducted into the team’s inaugural class, kicking off the franchise’s golden anniversary as the fourth-oldest minor professional hockey club in North America.
WOH inductees were selected based on their contributions to the organization’s on-and-off-ice excellence, and the team plans to update the WOH twice a decade to recognize additional franchise standouts. The wall is located inside Wings Event Center's concourse next to Section 1 & Guest Relations.

The Kalamazoo Wings are a professional hockey team located in southwest Michigan that has been a staple in the Kalamazoo, MI professional sports landscape since 1974. The K-Wings compete in the ECHL and are the AA affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks and the American Hockey League’s Abbotsford Canucks. Kalamazoo plays their 36 regular season home games at Wings Event Center from October through April.
