CLEVELAND (AHL) RECALLS THE LOAN OF GOALTENDER PAVEL CAJAN
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, announced Thursday that rookie goaltender Pavel Cajan has been recalled from loan to the K-Wings by the Cleveland Monsters (AHL).
Cajan, 20, sported a 2.15 goals-against average (GAA), a .964 save percentage (S%) and a 4-1-0-0 record in five games played for the K-Wings this season.
In 14 games with the Monsters, the Pribram, CZE native owns a 5-7-2-0 record with a 3.51 GAA and .879 S%. Cajan also helped lead the Kitchener Rangers to the OHL playoffs last season, finishing with a 3.61 GAA, a .901 save percentage and a 21-18-4 record.
