K-WINGS LOAN BRENDEN MILLER TO CLEVELAND (AHL)
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, announced Saturday that defenseman Brenden Miller has been loaned to the Cleveland Monsters (AHL).
Miller, 28, played two games with the K-Wings after playing one game for Iowa (AHL) this season. The seventh-year pro is an Orangeville, ON native and scored the game-winning goal in overtime for Kalamazoo versus Iowa on Wednesday.
Last season, Miller played the first half of the season (5G, 15A, +9) with Kalamazoo before his loan to Iowa (AHL), earning him an 2022 ECHL All-Star selection.
The K-Wings head to Indy for a matchup with the Fuel at 7:00 p.m. EST at Indiana Farmers Coliseum on Saturday.

The Kalamazoo Wings are a professional hockey team located in southwest Michigan that has been a staple in the Kalamazoo, MI professional sports landscape since 1974. The K-Wings compete in the ECHL and are the AA affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets and the American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters. Kalamazoo plays their 36 regular season home games at Wings Event Center from October through April.
