GREEN ICE TOMORROW: WHAT FANS NEED TO KNOW
Kalamazoo is excited to welcome fans to the 39th presentation of the Green Ice game.
KALAMAZOO, MI— The 39th annual world famous Green Ice game is sold out, but standing room only tickets still remain in an effort to keep the largest St. Patrick’s Day party in Kalamazoo going for everyone on Friday.
Standing room only tickets are $11 each, and are available at the Wings Event Center box office or at www.kwings.com.
The box office opens tomorrow at 10 a.m. Standing room only tickets require that fans sit on the stairs in any section ABOVE row N, or find an area to stand which doesn’t obstruct the view of fans in seats.
IMPORTANT GAME DAY INFORMATION- Due to the large quantity of tickets sold, fans are recommended to arrive at the game early to avoid long backups. Doors open to the general public at 6 p.m. and the puck drops against the Iowa Heartlanders at 7 p.m. EST.
Please keep in mind alternate ways to enter the Wings Event Center’s parking lot. Sprinkle road is expected to be backed up through the roundabouts, so please be aware that you can gain entry from the south side of the building using Covington Road via both Sprinkle and Kilgore roads.
Entry to the game can be granted through doors 1 and 10 (located in the front of the building near the flag poles, door 3 (located on the south side of the building), as well as door 8 (located on the north side of the building).
Fans can enjoy $2 green beer, sodas and hot dogs while supplies last.
Also, fans can view all the game action on each one of the TVs stationed inside and around the concourse, as well as in the Zamboni Bar area (located behind section 11).

The Kalamazoo Wings are a professional hockey team located in southwest Michigan that has been a staple in the Kalamazoo, MI professional sports landscape since 1974. The K-Wings compete in the ECHL and are the AA affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets and American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters. Kalamazoo plays their 36 regular season home games at Wings Event Center from October through April.
