K-WINGS ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER AND SCHEDULE
Kalamazoo reveals its full training camp roster as practices begin at Wings Event Center.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, announced its training camp roster and Schedule Friday as the team opened camp with its first official practice. The roster is made up of 21 players, consisting of 10 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders.
The K-Wings also revealed the full training camp schedule Friday. All practices are at Wings Event Center and closed to the public during camp this year, due to return to play protocols.
Media interested in attending practice is asked to contact K-Wings Director of Public Relations John Peterson in advance for access to the building. Media members must show proof of vaccination before being escorted to ice level for interviews, or arrange for Zoom/phone interviews if unvaccinated. As a reminder, Media Credential Applications for the 2021-22 season must be submitted for review before credentials are issued.

Kalamazoo will host the Toledo Walleye on Friday, Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m. in an exhibition game, with tickets available for just $5. Kalamazoo Wings season ticket holders get in free and will be able to pick up their season tickets that night.

Kalamazoo opens the 2021-22 season at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23 against the Toledo Walleye at Wings Event Center. Single Game Tickets to the Home Opener and all 36 home games are on sale now, and can be purchased HERE.

The Kalamazoo Wings are a professional hockey team located in southwest Michigan that has been a staple in the Kalamazoo, MI professional sports landscape since 1974. The K-Wings compete in the ECHL and are the AA affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets and American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters. Kalamazoo plays their 36 regular season home games at Wings Event Center from October through April.
