K-WINGS TRIM TRAINING CAMP ROSTER BY FOUR
Kalamazoo's roster now consists of 27 players, including two goaltenders, nine defenseman and 16 forwards.
KALAMAZOO, MI – The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, trimmed its training camp roster by four Saturday.
The following players have been released from their professional tryouts:
Mitch Atkins (F)
Nick LeSage (D)
Keegan Miller (F)
Max Milosek (G)
Kalamazoo's training camp roster now consists of 27 players, including two goaltenders, nine defensemen and 16 forwards, ahead of the teams final preseason game Saturday against the Toledo Walleye at 7:15pm at the Huntington Center in Toledo.
A final opening day roster must be submitted to the ECHL by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, consisting of a maximum 23 active players. The K-Wings open the season Saturday, Oct. 12 in Fort Wayne with a 7:35 p.m. face-off against the Komets at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
The K-Wings’ 46th Home Opener is Saturday, Oct. 19 against the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. at the Wings Event Center, following Fan Fest leading up to the game. Tickets are on sale now, starting at just $10.
