KALAMAZOO, MI— The Kalamazoo Wings are inviting the public to design a specialty jersey to be worn by the team on December 16, 2017, in a game against the Brampton Beast. Fans will have a three-week window, beginning on Monday, July 10, to submit their work to the email handle email@example.com.
Fans, amateur artists, or anyone interested is encouraged to submit a jersey/sock design, with a deadline of Monday, July 31. These jerseys will be worn during game action and then auctioned off at the conclusion of the contest, with the proceeds benefiting a local charity.
Submitted designs will be considered by the Kalamazoo Wings staff and narrowed to a top-10 list of finalists. The final ten jerseys will be voted on by fans of the Kalamazoo Wings Hockey Club Facebook page from Tuesday, August 1 until Monday, August 7.
The Kalamazoo Wings staff and ownership will then decide on a winner and reveal the decision on Tuesday, August 8.
Entire contest details (including templates and rules for submission) can be found below.
